NONGSTOIN: Minister in charge General Administration Department (GAD) A.L Hek, visited the Nongstoin Circuit House, which has been under construction since 1987, in Nongstoin on Thursday.

The construction of the circuit house started way back in 1987 with an estimated expenditure of Rs. 1.99 crore sanctioned by the GAD. The construction has been taken up by the PWD (building) Nongstoin region.

The Minister meanwhile visited to get a brief of the proceedings before the formal inauguration of the building expected by mid-October 2011.

It may be mentioned that the former GAD minister . Prestone Tynsong had promised the building would be inaugurated on July this year.

Ironically, the Nongstoin Circuit House building could not take proper shape even after 24 years of ongoing construction.
