SHILLONG: Police on Tuesday arrested a 55-year-old man Augustine Umdor for allegedly raping his nine-year-old stepdaughter at Tyrsad village in East Khasi Hills district
According to police, Umdor, an employee of the Shillong branch of the Meghalaya Cooperative Apex Bank, had allegedly raped the minor girl on August 17 and 20.
Umdor confessed to the crime, police added. A case has been registered with the Laban Police Station.
