Parker tackles working mom blues
London: Actress Sarah Jessica Parker says that she tries not to feel guilty about being a working mother and makes sure that her children get a lot of love when she’s with them. Parker has three children – James, 8, and two-year-old twins – Marion and Tabitha – with actor husband Matthew Broderick. “We’ve had two occasions recently where both Matthew and I were working and it was so hard on the kids,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted the 46-year-old as saying. “On the other hand, there are big chunks of time when we’re home a lot more than conventionally working parents. New York: American actress Zoe Saldana is a big fan of New York fashion and says people there “understand” the craft. Saldana finds it annoying when people “get lost” in an outfit. “I have this love affair with New York that I just can’t quit, and that applies to New Yorkers’ style too,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted the 33-year-old as saying. “I can’t stand when people get lost in clothes because they are trying to impress. We get that a lot in Los Angeles. You need to wear your clothes, your clothes can’t wear you. New Yorkers understand that,” she added. (IANS)
Tomb Raider inspired Jolie to adopt
London: Actress Angelina Jolie reveals she was inspired to adopt by her role in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. “A turning point in my life came when I made Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, in England. It also involved filming, partly, in Cambodia. I learned that the world is bigger than I thought it was and there were more important things than a film. I did not know much about Cambodia. I did not appreciate how beautiful it was and I had never met such open-hearted people,” contactmusic.com quoted her as saying. Jolie, who has three adopted kids adopt, son Maddox, Pax and daughter Zahara also says that the film has helped her turn sober. “That film also helped me get in to shape. I smoked a lot, drank far too much, had way too much coffee and suffered from insomnia. The fitness coaches on Lara Croft adjusted me. I had a certain amount of water, protein checks, vitamins, my cigarettes were taken away and I was not allowed to drink alcohol,” she added.(IANS)
Dunst grows up with relationships
London: Actress Kirsten Dunst, who is dating musician Jason Boesel, feels she has grown up as far as relationship are concerned. “Getting older, you try to pick a partner you are friends with. At least that’s my experience.
