Meeting

The Exporters of the state under the banner of Foreign Trade Chamber of Commerce Meghalaya will organise its general meeting at Dawki at 11am on August 31.

The organisation invites all the exporter working through the Land Customs Station at Dawki to be present at this meeting.

 Workshop

The Department of English, Seng Khasi College in collaboration with the English Language Teachers’ Association of India conducted a two-day workshop on Communication Skills in English on the college’s premises on Friday and Saturday.

The workshop sponsored by ICSSR-NERC was attended by more than 80 participants. Resource persons at the workshop include TK Kharbamon and Dr J Chatterjee from English and Foreign Languages University.

 Silver Jubilee

The Sengbhalang Ki Kynthei Lummawbah will celebrate its Silver Jubilee and the opening ceremony will be held on September 3 from 12am onwards at Lummawbah where local MDC and government officials will be present at the occasion.

 Office bearers

The meeting of All Shillong Nepali Mahila Samittee held recently elected Bishnu Maya Sharma as president, Vice President Puspa Biswa, Subhedra Pradhan Thapa as General Secretary and seven other members for the Samittee.
