Freshers’ meet

The Paite Students’ Welfare Association will organise its 48th Siamsin Conference cum Freshers’ Meet, 2011 at U Soso Tham Auditorium at 10.30am on Wednesday. Commissioner of Central Excise and Service Tax Dibrugarh, Assam, Pu Suakzathang Nunthuk will be present at the occasion as the chief guest.

The Office of the Chief Conservatory of Forests: Social Forestry and Environment will hold the seminar on Definition of Forests and Conflict Resolution in the context of Meghalaya at Pine Wood Hotel Conference Hall on September 1 and 2.

 Literacy class

The district administration, Ri Bhoi in collaboration with the Meghalaya State Legal Service Authority (MSLSA) organised a legal literacy classes both for school and colleges on August 29th at Union Christian College , Umiam Khwan to motivate the sudents to be aware of their rights so hat they can cope up every event in their daily lives.
