Land owners' support

 NONGPOH: The land owners of Umsning Existing Road and of Umsning Bye- Pass on Saturday extended their support to the NGO’s including KSU, FKJGP, RBYF, CORP and HNYF in opposing the state government’s move for construction of Umsning Bye Pass.

In a press release, the land owners extended their cooperation and support to the JAC of the NGOs to protest against the state government on the issue of the Umsning Bye Pass. It also expressed concern over the statement made by the headman of the Patarim saying that the headman of the Existing Road agreed with the state government that the 4 laning will be constructed from the existing road saying that it was no so.

They also informed that, the land owners and the headman of the Umsning Existing Road and the Umsning Bye Pass has strongly reacted to the statement of the Headman of the Patarim which cited that the leaders of the NGO’s had no right to interfere in this issue of the Umsning Bye Pass.
