Body building championship

The Meghalaya Body Builders’ Association under the authority of the Indian Body Builders’ Federation will be hosting the 37th State Body Building Championship and 31st State Yogasana Championship at New Age Welfare Society, Jail Road on October 15.

Workshop

The Research Centre for Eastern and North Eastern Regional Studies, Kolkata will organise a two-day workshop on “The North East- Development Paradigms” at North Eastern Council Auditorium here on October 18 and 19.

 Rympei Theatrical Centre

As a mark to observe the 38th anniversary of the Rympei Theatrical Centre, the centre has decided to display the play-‘Ka Pla I Nah’ for the second time at U Soso Tham Auditorium on October 15 at 3pm.

Roll Observer Appointed

The Deputy Commissioner (Election), East Khasi Hills has informed that Commissioner of Division, East and West Khasi Hills and Jaintia Hills, RV Suchiang has been appointed as the Roll Observer in connection with the Special Summary Revision with January 1, 2012 as qualifying date.
