SHILLONG: West Khasi Hills thrashed South garo Hills 7-0 in the Inter District Girls’ Football Tournament held at on Thursday.
Dawanphai Nongsiej and Henalin K.Jahrin scored hattricks for the West Khasi Hills team.
In other matches West Garo Hills drubbed Jaintia Hills 4-0 while East Khasi Hills beat Ri-Bhoi 1-0. Erani M.Momin struck twice for the West Garo Hills team.
The first semi final of the tournament would be played between Jaintia Hils and East Khasi Hils on Saturday while West Khasi Hills would lock horns with the team from West Garo Hills in the second semifinal of the day.
