 SHILLONG: Tarun Sangha Club, Upper Laban is celebrating golden jubilee this year. To commemorate the occasion an “open sit-and-draw competition” will be organised on October 23 on the Laban Bengali Boys’ Higher Secondary School premises from 10am to 12 noon.

The competition is open for students from Class I to X. The competition is divided into three groups with various themes, such as, Group A (Class I & II) – no theme, Group B (Class III & IV) – village life, Group C (Class V & VI) – monuments, Group D (Class VII & VIII) – famous personalities and Group E (Class IX & X) – pollution.

The results for the competition will be displayed in the Tarun Sangha Kali Puja Pandal, Upper Laban on October 26 and prize distribution function will be held on October 29 at the same venue from 7pm onwards.
