Kohima: The Nagaland unit of the BJP held a state level meet at its party office at Dimapur in the light of the forthcoming municipal and town councils election as directed by the high court.
In a press statement here today, the vice president K Medom of Nagaland BJP chaired the meeting; the members discussed party organisational matters, besides several issues affecting the state. Party leaders expressed commitment for the party’s welfare and to work towards the party’s programme for the people’s all round development.
Among other issues discussed, members expressed concern on the advanced issue of 2012 Public Distribution System food stock meant for 2012 and asked how the depleted resources would be made up to supply to the public’s requirement next year. (UNI)
