SBI to offer better customer service

 SHILLONG: Customers of the State Bank of India (SBI) can now directly redress their grievances and enquiry on any bank-related issues with the operating staff of the bank such as Branch Managers (BMs), Assistant General Mangers (AGMs) and the Deputy General Manager (DGM) on 15th and 25th of every month.

While speaking at the Customer Day celebration held in the city here on Wednesday, the newly posted SBI Deputy General Manager, S. Bokil informed that operating staff of the bank including BMs, AGMs and DGM will now be available to their customers for interaction like grievance redressal, consultations and other banking related issue every 15th and 25th of the month.

“In case the day happened to be a Bank Holiday, the subsequent day will be the Customer’s Day”, Bokil said.

The Deputy General Manager also informed that there are important changes in the SBI administrative set up.
