SHILLONG: The Sutnga Presbyterian Church celebrated its qasquicentennial jubilee celebration (125 years) from October 28 to 30.The Church was established in the year 1886. It was in the year 1880 that the missionary, Rev Robert Evans started sending /missionaries to conduct a survey and to preach the Christianity and the Gospel in Sutnga. The first family to profess the faith (Christianity) was that of Khulu Malang son of Ram Nongtdu and Phortimai Bamon.
