SHILLONG: The Rotary Club of Shillong gave away the Annual Vocational Awards at a function held at Hotel Pinewood here on Monday.
Urban Affairs Minister . Ampareen Lyngdoh gave away the awards. The awardees felicitated were Paresh Paul who makes idols for pujas, K.S.Rynjah, who designs Khasi Souvenirs, DonBok Kharkongor who makes coffins, Ahmed Hosain and Afsal Hosain who spent their lifetime preserving the beauty of Shillong through their photographic skills and S Joyful Lawrence, who has dedicated his life for promotion of music by his assistance to piano lovers.
