Mondal for early completion of MeECL projects

 SHILLONG: Meghalaya Power Minister AT Mondal has emphasized on the early completion of the ongoing projects of the Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited (MeECL) and also emphasized the responsibility of the engineers.

Addressing the Xth Conference of MeSEB Engineers’ Association held at Pinewood hotel recently, Mondal stressed on the early completion of ongoing projects and responsibility of the engineers to maintain a high dergree of professionalism and sincerity in their work. Meanwhile, Chairman of MeECL also Chief Secretary WMS Pariat lauded the unity among the engineers of the MeECL and informed that the final unbundling is in progress and an appropriate model suitable for state is being considered.

He also appreciated the need for ERP implementation and asked the engineers to keep the public interest in mind while performing their duties.
