Kozhiikode: Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy inaugurated a state- wide ‘People’ Contact’ programme by accepting representions listing grievances of the people in Kozhikode District of Kerala on Saturday.
Addressing the gathering at the function organised as part of devolution of power to the people, he underlined the need for unanimity among people as far as development was concerned. ”There should not be differences of opinion among people aimed at achieving overall development of the State,” he said.
The Chief Minister, who had received more than 10,000 representations directly from concerned people till this noon, said the government would try to address almost all the grievances of the people as mentioned in it sympathetically. (PTI)
