Memorial meet on Dr Hazarika

All Shillong Assamese Joint Forum is organizing a memorial meet on Dr Bhupen Hazarika on the Assam Club premises, Laban, on Sunday at 2pm. The All Shillong Assamese Joint Forum comprises Assam Club, Mukul Sangha, Deepjyoti Socio Environmental Club, All Meghalaya Assamese Association etc.

Conference

The 2nd inter-state regional conference of Tourism Ministers of East and Northeastern State will be held at Pinewood Hotel at 9.30am on Friday. The Union Minister of Tourism will inaugurate the function.

Foundation stone

The foundation Stone of the Housing Project under the Integrated Slum Development Programme (ISDP), JNNURM will be laid at Lower Mawprem at 10am on Saturday.

The Beaconville Training Academy is organising a valedictory ceremony for the teachers at the Unitarian Church Hall, Madan Laban, at 11.30am on Saturday. Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma will be the chief guest.

Missing

One, Kamal Stephan Roy (43) has been missing from Monday evening. He came from Mawryngkneng on Monday morning to Shillong and went to his mother’s house and later to his wife’s house. After 7pm that he left his wife’s place and had gone missing ever since. If any Information about the missing person is received, one can contact at 8014235464.
