Training prog

The Conservator of Forest is organizing a training programme on cultivation, harvesting, value addition and utilization of bamboos for farmers and entrepreneurs from November 28 to December 2. The inaugural session will be held at 9.30am at Interpretation Centre, Lady Hydari Park. Forest Minister P Tynsong will be the chief guest.

With a view to propagate Urdu language the Jamia Urdu, Aligarh in collaboration with Islamia Secondary School (ISS), Shillong has set up an examination centre at ISS for conducting examinations from Ibtadai (beginners) level to Adeeb Kamil (graduation) level. Now students of Urdu in Shillong will be able to learn Urdu through Distance Education Mode and sit for various examinations at ISS.
