Ri-Bhoi beat West Khasi Hills

SHILLONG: Ri-Bhoi District Cricket Association defeated West Khasi Hills Cricket Association by 45 runs in a league match of the U-19 Inter District tournament played at Cricket Ground, Polo on Friday. Winning the toss, Ri-Bhoi elected to bat first. The West Khasi Hills bowlers did well to restrict their opponents to 150 for the loss of 10 wickets in 42.2 overs. Utpal Sharma scored 30 and Aditya Singh managed 22. Reformstar War bagged three wickets for West Khasi Hills. In reply, West Khasi Hills were bundled out for 105 in 29 overs. Shanborlang Nongsiej scored 21 while Wilboard Warbah claimed five wickets for Ri-Bhoi. All Jaintia Cricket Association will play East Khasi Hills Cricket Association on Saturday.
