TURA: A one day awareness course on Rural Development Flagship Programmes was held at seven venues under Gambegre and Dalu C&RD Blocks of West Garo Hills from November 15th to 25th.The awareness programmes were organised by the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD) in collaboration with the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), West Garo Hills.The awareness course was held on the directive of theC&RD minister, Saleng A Sangma.
The courses were held for Nokmas, VECs, SHGs, ASHA workers, anganwadi workers and villagers of the West Garo Hills district. The facilitators during the course were SIRD faculty members, APOs of DRDA, Tura, Block Development Officers and APOs of C&RD Blocks, West Garo Hills.
