London: Actress Demi Moore returned to twitter for the first time since announcing her split from husband Ashton Kutcher.

The 49-year-old actress, who is usually a prolific user of the social networking website, posted her first message since separating from Ashton Kutcher to urge her fans to be more appreciative of people, reported Contactmusic.

Moore still hasn’t changed her title of @mrskutcher written on Twitter.

“Why do we have only 1 day for giving thanks? Is that why so many people feel unappreciated? Make this 1 of 365 days of Thanksgiving! (sic),” Moore said.

Meanwhile, Kutcher also tweeted “I’m thankful for family, friends, you, & time to reach my potential. What are you thankful for?.”

Moore announced her split from Kutcher amid allegations that the cheated on her with 21-year-old Sara Leal.

“It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation,” Moore had said in a statement.
