SHILLONG: Shillong Cricket Association (SCA) beat Ri-Bhoi by 239 runs to register a huge win in a league match of the U-19 Inter District Cricket Tournament here on Sunday. After winning the toss, SCA elected to bat first and the decision was justified by a fluent knock from Raj Biswa (101) which helped his team reach 295 for the loss of seven wickets in 50 overs. Biswa’s innings was ably supported by Syllvester Mylliempdah who scored a breezy 69. In reply, Ri-Bhoi could not stand the pressure of the huge total and their innings folded for a paltry 56 in 22.2 overs. Pynkmenlang claimed four wickets for SCA. In the last league encounter on Monday Shillong Cricket Association will play East Khasi Hills District Cricket Association.
