TURA: The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), West Garo Hills, Tura, in a declaration released on Friday stated that multiple L.P.G. connections by one family have been terminated.

The statement said that according to the recent amendment of the Gas Central Order, only one connection along with Double Bottle Connection (DBC) is permissible in any household consisting of husband, wife, children and dependants living in a dwelling unit having a common kitchen. The amendment, it is informed would reduce the shortage of LPG cylinders and provide much needed reprieve to families in need of an LPG connection. Customers have been directed to surrender extra connections.
