London: Singer Adele is to perform at the Grammy awards, but won’t have much rehearsal time as she is still resting following throat surgery.
The ‘Rolling in the Deep’ hitmaker plans to sing live at the US ceremony, where she has been nominated for six accolades, Contactmusic reported.
“She can’t wait to perform but her throat is still very fragile and she doesn’t want to harm her recovery. She should be fine by February 12 but she won’t have much time for rehearsal, which isn’t ideal,” a source said.
Adele, 23, who has to rest her vocal cords after surgery for a haemorrhage, is still in Boston where the operation took place, but said to be recovering well.
“Thank you for all your positive thoughts and get well wishes. I’m doing really well, on the mend, super-happy, relaxed and very positive with it all. The operation was a success and I’m just chilling out now until I get the all clear from my doctors,” Adele said. (PTI)
