SHILLONG: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of BSNL Associations and Unions of Executives and Non-Executives have decided to observe a one day strike on December 15 on a 15- point charter of demands including no VRS ; immediate repatriation of non-opted of ITS officers; payment of bonus (PLI); restoration of medical allowance, LTC, leave encashment among others.
Convener, JAC, NE-1 Circle Gopal Das informed that “The notice for the strike has already been served to the government and the management but so far they have not responded. Since the management and government have not conceded our demands, we have decided for agitational programme including one day strike on December 15.”
