Los Angeles: Two and a Half Men star Ashton Kutcher wants to spend New Year’s Eve in Australia because he wants to experience the turning of the year before anyone else.

The 33-year-old actor, who split from wife Demi Moore earlier this year, usually spends the last day of every year in New York but is planning a change, reported E! online.

“The best place to go is New York. This city is always electric and they do things bigger and better than everywhere else. But next year I want to go to Sydney because they get New Year’s Day first,” Kutcher said.

The actor said that he always makes new year’s resolutions but doesn’t want to divulge them as they are part of an annual ritual he has with his family.

“In our family, we have dinner and each take turns to say our resolution out loud. Mine’s private, but let’s say my goal is to get better,” he added. (PTI)
