A student from Shillong Janice Lynrah has secured the third position in the MSC (Electronic Media) in CMR Centre for Media Studies, Bangalore.

Janice who is the daughter of Michael Shylla acclaimed photographer and retired director in the Union ministry of information and broadcasting (Photo Division) secured the third position in the University results declared on Thursday.

She is a resident of Laitkor Peak.

She will be awarded a Gold medal for her achievement in the field of media studies in the month of February, 2012.
