NONGSTOIN: The members of the Senglongkmie on Friday apprehended one truck bearing registration number ML06-4387 on the Porjyllen road carrying illicit liquor to be sold at Rangblang market.
The Senglongkmie also seized about 60 cases of liquor worth Rs. 1 lakh 2 thousand from the vehicle at about 1:30pm. President of the Senglongkmie informed the press that the apprehension of the vehicle was done with the help of the villagers of New Nongstoin.Sources said that the Senglongkmie also apprehended Jimmy Carter Lyngdoh the main supplier of liquor in Nongstoin, along with the driver ofthe truck Tarningstar Marngar.
