Mumbai: American talk-show queen Oprah Winfrey will be coming to India next month for the first time.
“YES! I am coming to India next month for 1st time as part of NEXT CHAPTER!,” Oprah wrote on twitter, while replying to a fan. “Away most of January, in Africa, India,” she said.
‘Next Chapter’ is the new series of her famous talk show, in which, she will travel around the world, interviewing celebrities, news-makers and others. “Too much for a tweet but let’s hook up in Jaipur or Mumbai,” she said.
Last year, a number of international celebrities like pop-star Lady Gaga, Hollywood actors Tom Cruise and Hugh Jackman, Hollywood socialite Paris Hilton, American rapper Armando Christian Perez, popularly known as Pitbull, Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira, Senegalese-American singer Akon, British actress-model Elizabeth Hurley and others, had come to India for various reasons.
