KOHIMA: The NSCN (K) has reiterated its stance that it would not be involved in the Indian election process under any circumstances stating that the elections had nothing to do with Naga national politics.

It asserted that the Government of India “must know” it was only the NSCN, who could give “full stop solution” to the unrest in the Northeast.

In a statement the ‘Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP)’ here on Friday said the NSCN from the beginning firmly ”stood on the solid rock”.

Stressing that the “Naga national movement” continued to be the “mother” organisation “fighting for sovereignty”, the statement said that NSCN (K) has maintained the policy of “anti-Indian election” since its inception. (UNI)
