National Conference at NEIGRIHMS

The Orthotics and Prosthetics Association of India (OPAI), a National Body of Professionals actively involved in the Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities, is organizing the 20th National Conference at North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) from February 14-16.

It is the first occasion that the Northeast is hosting a conference of this nature and is being organized in association with the department of Orthopedics, NEIGRIHMS.

BSF apprehends racketeer

The BSF Troops of BOP Gasuapara Ex-35 BN BSF, on specific information, apprehended one FICN (Fake Indian Currency Note) Racketeer near BP No. 1124/4-S in West Garo Hills District along with FICN equivalent to Rs2000 on Friday at 1pm. The apprehended person was identified as Md Nazural (20) of Mymensingh District, Bangladesh.

The apprehended person has been handed over to police for further legal action .
