SHILLONG: The North Eastern Service, AIR, Shillong is organizing a one day seminar on January 31 on “Emerging Trends in Reduction of Natural Disaster in North East” with special emphasis on disaster mitigation measures through development of infrastructure, understanding landslides, earthquake and consequent mobilization of relief work and medical attention.
Eminent resource person NESAC, Meghalaya Disaster Cell, Geological Survey of India etc. would be participating in the seminar.
