NONGSTOIN: A team of FKJGP, Mawshynrut Circle led by its president Arkhelos Diengngan met S. Kharlyngdoh IAS, Deputy Commissioner of West Khasi Hills on Tuesday in connection with the bad road condition of the area caused by overloaded trucks.
The team informed the DC that the overqloaded trucks plying on the road from Shallang to Athiabari via Riangdo and from Shallang to Nongstoin road are worsening the already dilapidated roads.
Soon after the meeting, Diengngan told this scribe that the DC has assured the federation that he will take up the matter within a week’s time.
