She completed MBBS from Lady Harding’s College in New Delhi in 1995.

Dr Jini Gamlin had been unwell and went on coma since December 2008 and undergone extensive treatment in Delhi and later at Guwahati.

Her mortal remains were brought from Guwahati and would be laid to rest at Aalo, her native place, on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Arunachal Pradesh Governor Gen (Retd) J J Singh and Chief Minister Nabam Tuki expressed shock and grief at the death of Dr Moter Jini Gamlin.

The Governor conveyed sympathy to Gamlin and the bereaved family members in a condolence message.
