SHILLONG: Harisabha SC defeated Mawkriah CC by 60 runs while Desari beat Nongmynsong by 23 runs in the Second Division Shillong Cricket League played at Cricket Ground , Polo on Monday. In the first match, Harisabha won the toss and elected to bat. The batters were upto the task and piled up 143 in 15 overs for the loss of three wickets. Sandeep notched up a brilliant 43 while Arnold returned with the figures of 1/23 for the bowling side. In rely, Mawkriah were bundled out for 83 in 15 overs. Kunal bagged three wickets for Harisabha.
In the second match, Desari were back in the pavilion for 119 in 19.4 overs after they elcted to bat first against Nongmynsong. Prasanjit scalped three wickets for his side. In reply, Nongmynsong could only manage to score 96 in 15 overs. Bikash returned with brilliant figures of 3/9.
Meanwhile, the final of the First Division League wil be played between Wahingdoh SC and Lumdiengjri SC on Wednesday.
