Elephants kill MeECL guard

NONGSTOIN: One MeECL guard, Mohirot Rabha of Mendisalpara in East Garo Hills, died on the spot after he was attacked by wild elephants at around 3 am on Monday. Sources informed that four wild elephants trampled the victim to death while he was fast asleep at the MeECL camp at Bangjeng near Athiabari under West Khasi Hills district. The body was handed over to the family members after post mortem.
