Los Angeles: Actress Rumer Willis’ Hollywood home was reportedly broken into and thieves made away with USD 10,000 worth of goods.
The 23-year-old, who is the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, was not at home at the time of the theft as her property is undergoing renovations but she arrived to take stock of the damage, the TMZ reported.
The incident is said to have occurred in the last 24 hours. The suspect reportedly used an instrument similar to a blow torch to break open a lock on the outside gate.
According to sources, the stolen goods are alleged to be tools belonging to contractors who are currently working on the property.
Rumer was in Berlin on the red-carpet for an event to celebrate jewellery line Thomas Sabo over the weekend. Rumer is said to be troubled by her mother’s divorce from third husband Ashton Kutcher and her subsequent struggle with health issues. (PTI)
