Traffic arrangement

SHILLONG: In view of the forthcoming church service at Langkyrding Presbyterian Church on February 19 the SP (City), East Khasi Hills has effected some traffic arrangement for parking of vehicles.Parking Lot 1 is the private land of Sheer Kharkongor in front of the Church and along the road, one side till Lailad junction for light vehicles issued with a car pass by the Church. Parking Lot 2 for light vehicles coming from Demseiniong side will be parked at MUDA Complex located behind Langkyrding Presbyterian Church and additional parking at Umkaliar. Parking Lot 3 for light vehicles coming from Ishyrwat side will take a right turn and enter the road opposite to office of the Atomic Energy and Park in the open field by the roadside of Lumshyiap towards BSF Camp. Parking Lot 4 for light vehicles coming from Golflink side will enter the private land of SM Don at Pynthorbah (right side) and alongside the road near Catholic Church, Golflink.

Parking for heavy vehicles coming from Ishyrwat junction will be alongside the road between Atomic Energy Office and Ishyrwat. Parking for heavy vehicles coming from Demseiniong side will be at Umkaliar and those from Golflink side will be from Lumshyiap junction towards Mawpat, one side of the road. Traffic Police and volunteers will guide the vehicles to the parking lots and public are requested to cooperate.
