Police arrest one for burglary

SHILLONG: Police have arrested one Fabian Kharsawian from Polo area on Thursday for allegedly stealing a laptop and other items from the house of one Ashish Kumar in Forest Colony, Lawmali on February 14.

Besides the laptop, police also informed that the accused has also an iPod and a mobile.

According to the police, the wife of the accused is also can accomplice in this theft since she has tried to conceal the stolen items.

Meanwhile, police informed that the accused has also confessed of his involvement in various burglary cases in Laitumkhrah and Nongthymmai areas.

Police also informed that Fabian had earlier been arrested in the murder of one of Bonny Ryntathiang along with his two accomplices in 2005.

The police further informed that the accused was also arrested for illegal possessing a pistol in 2003.
