SHILLONG: The sixty-fourth edition of Zomi Nam Ni (Zomi National Day) celebration will be held at Asom Kristi Kendra Auditorium on February 20 under the theme ‘cultural conformity,’.
Editor The Shillong Times, Patricia Mukhim will grace the function as the Chief Guest.
Zomi Nam Ni is celebrated on the 20th day of February every year since 1948 in different parts of the country.
The Day is observed as a day of deliverance, love, peace, unity, political retrospection and remembrance of the past history of the Zomi (Chin-Kuki-Mizo).
