Syiemlieh ready to contest if given UDP ticket

SHILLONG: The MDC of Mawlai Constituency, Embhahlang B. Syiemlieh has announced that he is ready to contest the 2013 elections if he is granted a ticket from the United Democratic Party (UDP).

“If the party finds me eligible enough and trusts me as their candidate to represent the party from Mawlai Constituency, then I am full prepared”, Syiemlieh told reporters after the meeting of the UDP Mawlai Circle here on Saturday.“I hope that through the support of the public, I will be able to succeed”, he added.
