Awareness programme on AIDS

JOWAI: In a bid to check and control the spread of HIV AIDS in coal belt area of Jaintia Hills, the All Jaintia Youth Welfare Organisation (AJYWO) East Jaintia Zone jointly with the Mihmyntdu Community Social Welfare Association (MCSWA) organised an awareness program at Sohkymphor market on Monday.

Leaders of AJYWO including its central body President, MH Dkhar and leaders of the MCSWA and headman of the village besides hundreds of villagers including miners were present in the programme.
