SHILLONG: The LPG Indane consumers of Shillong can now book for refill of cylinders online following the inauguration of the Web Booking System (WBS) for LPG Indane consumers of Shillong by East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Sanjay Goyal on Monday.

The Web Booking System is an additional utility to the telephonic booking system, which incidentally, is yet to be launched in the State.

Speaking to The Shillong Times here on Tuesday, Goyal said that LPG consumers will have to register themselves online at www.indane.co.in with details of their consumer number, telephone number and email IDs to avail the web booking system.

“With this system consumers can book their cylinders even when they are out of station,”; while adding that at least 20 per cent of the LPG consumer base, who are familiar with or have access to the internet, can use this online booking service.

Goyal also informed that under the online booking system, consumers can book for the refill at any hour of the day.

He also informed that the administration would soon start the SMS services of booking for LPG cylinders.
