1. Apropos to the news item published in The Shillong Times (March 7th) under the caption “Govt to revoke order granting ST status to Marngar community”, it is clarified that the subject is related to Bhong tribe living in Marngar area of Ri Bhoi district and not as appeared.

 2. Apropos the news item “City schools flouting MBOSE examination rules” ST, Mar 7, the Lady Keane Girls’ HS School has clarified that the school is not a centre for Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examination conducted by the Meghalaya Board of School Education. Hence there is no violation of any MBOSE rules as appeared in the news item.
