Samrat Dey has been awarded PhD in Physics by the North Eastern Hill University, Shillong for his Thesis: “A Study of Microscopic Super fluidity By Quantum Dynamics of Dopants in 4He Nanodroplets and Related Aspects” on March 6.
He worked under the joint supervision of Prof YS Jain (Retd) and Prof Satish Kumar from the Department of Physics, NEHU. He is the son of Sukumar Dey and Shefali Dey, resident of Lumparing.
