JOWAI: A research officer of the DJ Research and Consultancy Private Limited, Odissa was killed while two other including a follow research officer and a Junior Engineer in PWD sustained serious injuries when the vehicle (ML01-5950) in which they were traveling fell into a deep gorge in Jaintia Hills district on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Sunil Kr Barla. They were on their way to Jowai from Umkiang Pahar.
