MCC trounce Nongthymmai

SHILLONG: Malki Cricket Club (MCC) on Wednesday beat Nongthymmai by 10 wickets in a one-sided affair of the Super division Cricket league being played at Polo Cricket Ground, here. Electing to bat first after winning the toss Nongthymmai Sports Club managed to score 159 for the lossof 9 wickets in allotted 40 overs. Reginald Kharkongor top scored with 34 while Sanvert Kurkalang and Pynkmenlang Shangpliang took 3 wickets each. In reply Malki reached the target in 31.1 overs without losing any wicket. Sylvester MylliemPdah (82 not out) & Dathew Syngkon (65 not out) led their team to a victory.. On Thursday United XI will take on Royal CC.
