Health camp organised at Shallang

NONGSTOIN: As part of the social responsibility, social activists Pelcy Snaitang of Mawshynrut in collaboration with the Shallang Primary Health Centre organised a one-day general health camp at Shallang on Thursday.

Over 800 villagers mostly children and women attended the camp.

Doctor in charge, Shallang Primary health centre, Dr. T.Syiem informed that most of the children were treated from various ailments such as worm infections, vitamin deficiencies, malnutrition besides general diseases such as common cold and cough, fever and others.

The medicines were sponsored by Snaitang.

Local people hailed the initiative taken by Snaitang and Shallang Primary Health Centre.
