IT minister A L Hek gives away water filters to BPL families in Pynthorbah.

 SHILLONG: Rotary Club Orchid City Shillong organized a two -day program for creating awareness about importance of safe and clean drinking water as part of their “ Safe Drinking Water Direct To Home “ Project and distributed free water filters to more than two hundred BPL families on Saturday and Sunday in Pynthorbah locality.

IT minister A.L.Hek attended the program and distributed the filters. Members of the club also gave talk on awareness about polio.
