Mumbai: Actress Sonakshi Sinha is all set to essay the role of a gangster’s moll in the sequel to Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai opposite Akshay Kumar.
“Its official! @sonakshisinha is part of one of the films I’m looking forward to watching the most. ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAI..AGAIN,” Sonakshi Sinha’s brother Luv said on Twitter.
Kareena Kapoor and Kangana Ranuat were reportedly approached for this role. This will Sonakshi’s third outing with Akshay after Shirish Kunder’s Joker and Prabhu Deva’s Rowdy Rathore. Both the films are slated to release this year. The sequel to Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, which also stars Imran Khan, is be directed by Milan Luthria. Akshay will be playing Shoaib, a character modelled on underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. (PTI)
