Minister reviews progress of highway projects

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Finance, Planning & PWD Minister Chowa Mein has reviewed the physical progress of highway projects, including the ongoing ambitious Trans-Arunachal Highway in the state.

The PMO has been constantly monitoring all flagship programmes of the UPA government, particularly those under the PM’s package, announced during 2008.After being briefed on the progress of highway projects in the state, Mein called for expediting the execution and timely completion of the projects, official sources said on Thursday.

The Minister had convened a meeting of all contracting agencies of highway projects working in Arunachal Pradesh at New Delhi on April 7 to review the physical progress till March 31.(PTI)
